The re-registration of National Service Personnel for the 2025/2026 service year has entered day two with thousands of fresh graduates being enrolled nationwide.
This follows the announcement of Wednesday, October 8, 2025, as the new date for the re-registration exercise by the Director General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Ruth Sedor.
The new date follows a directive from President John Dramani Mahama after the Technical and Forensic Audit of the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP) was found unsatisfactory.
The National Service Authority was subsequently instructed to design and deploy a more robust digital platform to ensure transparency, real-time verification and security.
At a press briefing on Tuesday 7, 2025 Madam Sedoh declared that all registrations completed in June 2025 are null and void, directing all prospective personnel to re-register.
According to her, the revised schedule is intended to ensure a smooth and transparent process for all eligible graduates preparing to undertake their mandatory national service.
The re-registration exercise will allow prospective personnel to update their details, confirm placements, and address any technical challenges encountered during the initial registration period and assure that all legitimate registrants from the June exercise would receive refunds of their service fee.
The Director General urged all eligible graduates to take note of the new date and comply with the process to avoid delays in deployment. The Authority also emphasized that the re-registration would be conducted strictly online through the official NSA portal to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
Adding that step-by-step guidelines for the online registration would be available on its new website, www.gnsa.gh.gov starting Wednesday 8, 2025.
