The Shai Osudoku chapter of the New Patriotic Party have expressed optimism that the arrival of the District Road improvement Program(DRIP) machinery aimed at facilitating the improvement of roads around the country will give their constituency a massive facelift as far as road development is concerned.
Speaking to the media on receipt of the equipments, the party’s Constituency Chairman and Parliamentary candidate bewailed the poor nature of roads in the constituency and their optimism that these equipment will herald a new dawn for them thus assuring residents of an imminent solution to their concerns.
The District Road Improvement Program was put in place by government to provide mechanical support to facilitate road infrastructural developments across all districts in Ghana.
Responding to residents agitation of poor road network in the Shai Osudoku constituency, the New Patriotic Party’s local chapter have been giving assurances that these equipment will herald the much needed development they are clamoring for.
The Party’s chairman for the Shai Osudoku constituency Francis Martey assured that the poor roads in areas like Odumse amongst others will experience a facelift with the availability of these machinery while assuring that the equipment will be deployed in a non-partisan manner.
Also, the New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary candidate for Shai Osudoku commended government for this timely intiative which he believes will improve road infrastructure massively and help alleviate the concerns of his constituents.
