GH Schools has reaffirmed its commitment to technical and vocational education as it officially welcomed its March 2025 cohort in a vibrant matriculation ceremony. The event, held in emphasized the role of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in national development, preparing students with the practical skills needed to drive economic growth.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rector of GH Schools, Leslie Addo Listowell, encouraged students to embrace the school’s hands-on learning approach, which has helped many graduates secure careers in media, fashion, catering, cosmetology, and technology.

The event’s keynote speaker, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority Abeiku Santana, intimated the crucial role of TVET in Ghana’s development. He stressed that technical and vocational skills are no longer secondary options but key drivers of national progress.
“Countries that invest in TVET see faster economic growth and lower unemployment rates. Ghana’s future depends on skilled professionals like you, and the training you receive here will open doors in industries that are shaping our economy,” he noted.

GH Schools, which started as GH Media School, was founded by Leslie Addo Listowell under Media Tribe Studio 233, a multimedia company specializing in TV content production. Over the years, the institution has expanded to offer specialized training in Media, Cosmetology, Fashion, Catering, and Technology, all with a strong emphasis on practical, industry-relevant skills.
The school’s focus on hands-on learning has yielded remarkable results, with an 80% graduate employment rate and a growing reputation as a leader in TVET education in Ghana.
