In a heart-warming demonstration of local leadership and community responsibility, the Community 25 Landlords Association has made a significant donation to the Save the Young Orphanage, reinforcing their shared commitment to uplifting vulnerable children and strengthening community development initiatives.
The donation event, held on Saturday 28 February, 2026 at the grounds of the Young Orphanage Golf City-Tema, brought together landlords, community leaders, caregivers, volunteers, and residents. It marked a meaningful step toward addressing some of the pressing needs facing the orphanage and the wider community.

“We are more than just property owners in this community,” says member of the Community 25 Landlords Association, Nana Adu-Gyemfi. “We are neighbors, mentors, and guardians of the future. Supporting the young ones — especially those without families — is our collective duty.” He further called on other organizations to see the need in giving and supporting places like the Save the Young Orphanage.
The Association’s donation included: Essential supplies such as food items, toiletries and a monetary support of three thousand Ghana Celia to aid in health care and nutrition of the children.
Representatives from the Young Orphanage expressed heartfelt gratitude. “This gift goes beyond material support,” said Lawrentia Nyaba Otu, supervisor at the orphanage. “It shows our children that the community cares that they matter. It will make a lasting impact not just on their daily needs but on their hope for a brighter future.”

Community Development at Heart
The donation aligns with the Landlords Association’s broader vision of sustainable community development. Over the past year, members have been actively engaged in several initiatives, including:
Organizing clean-up campaigns in residential areas,
Supporting youth skill training programs,
Partnering with local schools to improve facilities and learning resources.
What This Means for the Future
The collaborative action between the landlords and the orphanage underscores the transformative power of community solidarity. Local residents have responded positively to the news, noting that such partnerships can inspire greater unity and attract additional support from businesses and stakeholders.
