Mohammed Salisu, Black Stars defender has scored his first-ever UEFA Champions League goal on Wednesday night to give AS Monaco a draw against Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia.
After beating Barcelona in their first outing, Monaco were highly confident of securing a win against Dinamo who suffered at the hands of Bayern Munich earlier.
Unfortunately, the home side proved to be a formidable side when they took the lead in additional time of the opening half through Peter Sucic.
Dinamo doubled their lead in the 66th minute after the break.

However, the Ghanaian defender halved the deficit for his side in the 74th minute of the game.
Salisu headed home his first-ever goal in the competition after meeting Maghnes Akliouche’s cross.
This marks Salisu’s second appearance in the Champions League after featuring in the game against Barcelona last month.
The Ligue 1 side fought from two goals down to finish 2-2 after Denis Zakaria grabbed the equaliser from the penalty spot with just a minute away from full-time.
The win places Monaco on four points after two games in the competition.
