Dr. David Kwasi Afresh, Former President of STOP TB has called on MMDCEs in the Oti Region to help extending infrastructure development to their various communities to bring the needed development to its people.
This according to him, will phisically bring the development the people have been yelling for and will strengthen the needed functionality of every District and Metropolis across the region.
He continues by saying for a district to function it needs sufficient human resource into all sectors or government institutions in the District.
According Mr. Afresh, a District that does not have the capacity to mobilize from the local front and can not also mobilize from the international front fails it’s people.
Referencing the ruling National Democratic Congress’s manifesto, Mr. Afreh says it clearly demacates development to every community amd needs a knowledgeable person’s as the MCE or DCE to help deliver that to its people.
He was speaking at the backdrop on the ongoing selection of MMDCEs in the Oti Region.
It needs someone with National level understanding of issues to be able tondeliver the NDC manifesto for the Regional, he stated.
