Market women at the Dodowa market are beaming with expectations following a drive by the New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for the Shai Osudoku constituency Benjamin Nargeh’s drive to improve healthcare by facilitating their enrollment onto the database of the National Health Insurance Scheme.
As part his commitment to deepening the healthcare delivery machinery, the New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary candidate for the Shai Osudoku constituency Benjamin Nargeh has taken the registration for enrollment into the National Health Insurance Scheme to the Dodowa market to help market women and their wards have easy access to the scheme.
In a conversation with some market women, they expressed their satisfaction to this timely move by the aspirant and prayed that this is the first of many interventions should he get the nod in December.
These women expressed the dissatisfying nature of access to quality healthcare delivery in the area and expressed optimism that with this drive, their many challenges will be tackled when the candidate is elected as their representative
Olivia Amawuda shared with the news, her optimism that this drive will improve the lives of the women who ply their trade at the market.
She further called on the aspirant to channel significant investment into educational infrastructure to give the constituency a facelift as far as education is concerned.
Parliamentary Candidate for the Shai Osudoku constituency Benjamin Nargeh shared with us the factors which necessitated this intiative by his office.
He further assured the market women of his plan to improve the road infrastructure in the market within a year of his election into office as their Member of Parliament.
