New CEO’S Vision Aligns With The Agency (YEA) -Frederick Abban

Director of Information and Technology at the Youth Employment Agency, Frederick Abban, has touted the credentials of newly -appointed Chief Executive Officer Malik Basintale.

According to him, the latter’s focus to supervise job creation for the teeming youth aligns with the main vision of the institution. 

Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, Malik Basintale officially assumed office as Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency on January 27, 2025. 

An influential and vibrant figure in politics, he is expected to revitalize the agency and ensure its mission aligns with the broader goal of empowering young people across the country.

Touching on the appointment, Director of Information Technology at the Youth Employment Agency, Frederick Abban lavished praise on the appointee describing him as suitably qualified for the daunting task.

He further indicated that the agency would work assiduously to better the lot of persons with disability.

The Youth Employment Agency was established under the Youth Employment Act 2015[Act 887] to empower young people to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic and sustainable development of the nation.

Its objective is to support the youth between the ages of fifteen to thirty-five years through skills training and internship modules to transit from a situation of unemployment to that of employment.
