‘ORAL’ Is an Effort to Send a Clear Message That Corruption Will Not Be Tolerated Going Forward – Vice President

Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has emphasized that Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL)—aims at reclaiming stolen public funds and signaling a zero-tolerance approach to corruption.

“Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) is an effort to send a clear message that corruption will not be tolerated going forward,” the Vice President stated.

The initiative is one of several steps introduced by government to revitalize Ghana’s anti-corruption architecture. It follows persistent concerns over weak enforcement, political interference, and declining scores on international governance indices.

The Vice President highlighted the economic importance of restoring public confidence and reclaiming resources that have been misappropriated.

“Ghana’s economic recovery and long-term prosperity depend on our ability to demonstrate that we are reliable stewards of public resources,” she said.
