Oti Regional Minister Pledge To Solve Water Crisis

John Kwadjo Gyapong, the regional minister for Oti Region, in his tour of the region have realize that most communities in the region are struggling to get portable drinking water.

He was able to visit all the nine (9) constituencies of the region and also inspect the woks of the district assemblies in the region.

According to the regional minister, he does not see the reason why the region will be surrounded by but yet the people in the region are tasty.

Hon. John Kwadjo Gyapong visited the water processing system at Damanko in the Nkwanta North District of the Oti Region, where he was able to find out the fault.

The Hon. Minister Was also at Kete- Krachi to see how best he can resolve the water problem in the region.

Tefutor Simon who is a resident of Damanko state in an interview with Samali Abdul Razak that the main challenge Damanko water system is facing is that the machines that pump the water, most of them have spoiled and due to that the remaining one is not having enough power to carry water to far.

He added that the Hon. Minister John Kwadjo Gyapong visit is a very good one and he believes that the NDC government will do something to help the people of Oti Region.

According to Tefutor Simon the NPP government have totally forgotten about the people of Oti and even denied them from getting good water to drink.
