President John Dramani Mahama To Address 92nd Convention Of The Ahmadiyaa Muslim Mission Today

President John Dramani Mahama will this morning address the 92nd Annual Jalsa (Convention) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission at Pomadze in the Central Region.
It will be his first public engagement since his swearing-in on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The 2024 Annual Jalsa is on the theme “Justice and Peace; The Essential Ingredient for National Development”.


The three-day convention is chaired by the Ameer and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Alhaj Maulana Noor Mohammed Bin Salih. And expected bring members of the Arhmadiyya Muslim community and other stakeholders to discuss and reflect on the importance of justice and peace in national development of our country.


President Mahama’s address will likely highlight his administrations commitment to promoting the peace and justice Ghana need.


The mission’s emphasis on justice and peace aligns with the values of the Islamic faith which stress on the importance of fairness, compassion and social justice.
