Former Ambassador of Ghana to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Said Sinare has clarified the controversy surrounding the funding and reconstruction of the Kumasi Central Mosque.

The architectural masterpiece with a seating capacity of seven thousand is the second largest in Ghana.

Under whose tenure, this project began has become a topic for discussion by many.

According to the former Ambassador of Ghana to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Said Sinare the initiative was conceived by the National Democratic Congress and not the ruling New Patriotic Party.

On the upcoming general elections, the former Ayawaso Central Legislator believes the Zongo community will vote massively for the NDC to enable them win decisively and resoundingly.

He further warned the New Patriotic Party against any attempt to falsify results in their favour.
