In a pertinent milestone for the African real estate sector, E.Wells Realty and Consultancy has officially launched the African Continent Real Estate Listing Service (ACRELS) at an event held at the company’s headquarters in Ghana. The launch, attended by a host of real estate agents and industry stakeholders, marks the introduction of a groundbreaking platform designed to revolutionize property transactions across the continent.

The initiative, supported by the Diaspora African Forum and the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC), is poised to position African real estate on the global stage, fostering connections between local and international markets.

Speaking at the event, Hanna Atiase, Co-Founder of ACRELS, highlighted the platform’s mission to bridge gaps and empower stakeholders in the real estate industry. She outlined ACRELS’ objectives, which include connecting agents, buyers, and sellers across Africa and beyond.

“This platform is about more than just buying and selling properties,” Atiase explained. “It is about creating a network that allows African real estate to shine on a global platform while ensuring local markets remain accessible and empowered.”

She also emphasized ACRELS’ unique features, including a dedicated call support system to assist agents and a mechanism for facilitating transactions in indigenous African currencies. This approach, she noted, aims to simplify cross-border real estate transactions while fostering a deeper connection between the African diaspora and their roots through property investments.

In her address, Creative Director of African Continent Real Estate Listing Service (ACRELS) Dez Gerald echoed the sentiment of connectivity, describing ACRELS as a tool for bridging continents and connecting communities. Gerald highlighted the platform’s features, which are tailored to empower real estate agents and improve the quality of transactions.

Among these features are mechanisms for price control, ensuring fairness for agents, and tools for data collection, which will help track market trends and inform decision-making.

Gerald also underscored the importance of leveraging AI technology to provide quality leads and enhance the user experience, while the platform’s international referral system promises to facilitate seamless connections among agents across borders.

“Africa is stepping into a new era of real estate, where technology and collaboration will define how we grow and connect,” Gerald remarked. “ACRELS is a game-changer for agents, buyers, and sellers alike.”

The launch event concluded with an optimistic outlook for the future of African real estate. ACRELS, with its innovative features and strong partnerships, promises to be a catalyst for change, connecting local markets with global opportunities and reshaping the continent’s property industry.
