AFCON 2021 GHANA TO PLAY GABON TOMORROW IN A SECOND GROUP STAGE MATCH

The group C table of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations has started to take shape after results of the first matches played.
Gabon leads the table with 3 points followed by Morocco also with3 points, Comoros and Ghana places third and fourth respectively with no points after losing their first games.

Let’s take a look at the preview of the match between Ghana and Gabon as they play each other in their second group stage match.
Four-time champion’ Ghana will aim to secure all three points in this game after suffering a disappointing result against Morocco on Monday, the encounter could propel Gabon into the next stage of the competition should they beat Ghana.

It is all or nothing as the Black Stars needs a crucial win to stand the chance to qualify for the next round of the competition.
Fears about the head injury of captain Andre Ayew sustained during the match between Morocco could be a major concern for the team.
Gabon on the other hand will be looking forward for a similar result when they secured all three points when they faced Comoros last Monday.

Star players Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang and Mario Lemina will not be part of the squad due to Covis-19 related issues which will be a setback for the team.
The two countries have met eleven times with Ghana wining five and three of the outings being a draw.
