BESTEL Social Club is a subsidiary of United Kingdom based BELSTEL Foundation has on Sunday put smiles on the faces of residents of Kasoa in the Central Region to climax the celebration of the yuletide.
Speaking to Pan African Television News, Country Director, Bessa George of the club has explained on the need for kind gesture saying that it’s part of their social responsibility and a way not to leave anyone behind in the celebration of Christmas.
The yearly event in the community saw hundreds of the residents joyfully celebrating the festive season as they were gifts with assorted items by their BESTEL Community Club supported by the umbrella body based in UK, BESTEL Foundation.
Secretary of the club, John Hughes says the gesture was possible by their own IGF and supported by the mother body in making sure they are able to put smiles on the faces of club members and residents of the community. Adding that they also support members in improving their health conditions as well as some humanitarian services.
Some beneficiaries couldn’t hide their excitement and extend their gratitude to the kind gesture.
