Improving quality education in Ghana

Educationist Ms. Florence Esi Damali who doubles as Former Municipal Director of Ga East has urged government to invest heavily in the Education system. She made this remarks during the official opening of Happy Royal International School

According to her Education is a holistic program and the bedrock of national development which must be tackled critically by government.She noted that vocational and technical skills should be developed at early stage in our school system in order to minimize the cases of  unemployment graduates in the country.

Education is the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, morals, beliefs, habits and personal development. Educational methods include teaching, training, storytelling, discussion and directed research. There are three main types of education, namely, formal, informal and non-formal

In consonance with this, Former Municipal Director of Ga East, Ms. Florence Esi Damali in an interaction with the media reiterated that education is a holistic program and therefore government must advocate for blend curriculum activities to ensure formal and informal teaching into the education system to make easier for students when they graduate.
