The Opposition National Democratic Congress has expressed worry over the economic crisis which Ghanaians are reeling under.
In an interaction with the media, the party further critiqued government’s handling of the issue which has gained considerable attention.
The party’s National Communications Officer, Samuel Gyamfi who addressed the press pushed for the scrapping of nuisance taxes which has overburdened majority of Ghanaians struggling to make ends meet.
He also called for the Vice President and Finance Minister to be relieved of their positions on the Economic Management Team.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress will restore balance and fairness to Ghana’s ailing economy if given the nod in 2024.
