Oti Regional Minister Weeps As Nkwanta South Disturbances Affects Development Of Oti Region

Over some years now that people in Nkwanta South have not been in good teams with each other which leads to the imposing of curfew on the municipality.

Oti Regional Minister John Kwadwo Gyapong, who visited the municipal to inaugurate the sanitary pad program, upon hearing the numbers that the secondary schools in the Nkwanta South municipality are admitting bend his head down in tears.

According to the Regional Minister Nkwanta South is the engine of Oti Region and seeing what has happened to Nkwanta and even they can not afford to get students for their schools Is something that affects the whole region.

Hon. John Kwadwo Gyapong who doubles as the NDC chairman of the Oti Region states that everybody in the municipality both young and adults should be peace ambassadors so that they can restore peace back to the municipality.

He warned tribes in Nkwanta town and it’s environs not to celebrate any traditional festival in the municipality.

The Municipal chief executive, Joseph Antwi Awal assured the minister of peace in Nkwanta South and he also said he will work hard to bring peace back to Nkwanta South.

Hon. Joseph Antwi continue by saying the peace that the NDC government wants from Nkwanta will soon be a thing of the pass.
