Parliamentary hopeful optimistic of occupying the Anlo seat

A Gender Activist Amelia Amedela Amemate, has declared her readiness and preparedness to contest the Anlo seat currently occupied by Richard Kwame Sefe as the National Democratic Congress gears up for its parliamentary primaries. The activity slated for May 13 2023 is expected to take place in two hundred and seventy-six constituencies throughout the country.

Amelia AmeDela Amemate, popularly known as Dela Goldheart, is a researcher at the University of Cambridge. She is the also first and only female holder of the prestigious Gate Cambridge scholarship from Ghana at the PhD level. Besides her academic pursuits, the Parliamentary aspirant is an outspoken gender activist and a community advocate.

In an interview with Pan African Television’s George Yawson Vineh, she outlined her vision of making Anlo a citadel of growth and development if given the nod.

Added that her elevation to power as a politician will add value to herself.

In the last election, Richard Kwame Sefe of the National Democratic Congress outpolled his main challenger from the camp of the New Patriotic Party Seth Kwashie Yormewu.
