Director for policy ‘think tank’, Centre for Greater Impact Africa, Reverend Dr. Worlanyo Mensah has advised that there is the need to empower private companies in the country to take advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA) to expand and create more jobs for the youth.
He made this disclosure when he led a team from the centre to pay a working visit to M&G Pharmaceutical Company here in Accra.
He also promised to work with government in finding a sustainable policies that will help the pharmaceutical industries in Ghana.
Technical adviser to the centre, Dr. Chris Kpodar added that their visit was to marry industries and academic institutions to help address the existing gaps.
