Media in partnership for development (MIDPA), a film production and media firm has launched a book and movie titled Mandocracy at press launched here in Accra. The sixteen-page book, according to the author Ben Imoro, contains suggestions and recommendations to parliament of Ghana to adopt a new way of government in place of the already known democracy.
The already practicing democracy according to the veteran journalist has not been successful enough in our Ghanaian and African context hence the decision to lead a group of research students in Ghana to propose some recommendations and suggestions of the system termed as Mandocracy which he believes is the way to go.
He further admonished colleague journalists to be critical enough when things get out of hand and bemoaned Africa’s underdevelopment.
