Peter Nortsu-Kotoe, has directed the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ho West, Mr. Francis Dussey Profer, to collaborate with the management of Abutia Senior High Technical School (ABUSTECH) to secure all documentation on the school boundaries. The directive aims to protect ABUSTECH’s total land size and ward off encroachers to prevent annexation by persons who may falsely claim ownership of parcels of the school land reserved for developmental projects in the future. Accra, Ghana Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, Director of  Presidential Initiatives in Agriculture and Agribusiness at the Office of the President, has emphasized the urgent need for a legislative framework to support farmer cooperatives and unions across Ghana. He made this known during a meeting with executives of the Ghana National Association of Farmers and Fishermen (GNAFF) at his office in Accra. Dr. Otokunor lamented the current struggles of farmer cooperatives, attributing their weakened state to the absence of a regulatory structure. “One of the biggest failures in the agricultural sector is the lack of a regulatory regime for the various cooperatives and farmers' unions. Promoting peace and development in Nkwanta South municipality SOCO which is a World Bank and Ghana government-funded project has organized a sports competition to foster stability, cooperation, and sustainability in the municipality. According to the planning officer at Nkwanta South municipal assembly, Abass Ibrahim,the project is contributing to the prevention of conflict spillover from the sahelian countries by improving the social and economic resilience of the targeted Northern Regions in the Gulf of Guinea countries (Ghana Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, and Togo) .
