Women’s Premier Super Cup: Hasaacas through to semis

The reigning champions of the Ghana Women’s Premier League, Hasaacas Ladies, have booked their spot in the semifinals of the ongoing Women’s Premier Super Cup.

This follows their 1-0 victory against Northern Ladies on Wednesday morning in their final group game at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Having recorded a thumping 6-0 win on matchday two (Monday, September 23, 2024) prior, Hasaacas Ladies now sit top of Group A.

The Hasmal Ladies completed their Group stage campaign with a perfect record after Sylvia Osei came off the bench to score the only goal of the game against Northern Ladies.

They now have nine points from three games and conceded no goals so far.

Meanwhile, Faith Ladies also made it through to the semis having recorded the biggest win of the competition so far.

They beat Supreme Ladies after Gladys Amfobea scored a hattrick in the first half before adding her fourth on the 90th-minute mark.

Faith Ladies increased the scoreline with more goals from Matilda Damoah, Vuvor Julian and Alamisi Atampaka to seal the second group win for the team.

They are solidly behind Hasaacas in Group A.
