AFES Consult trains data collectors to access impact of waste management

AFES Consult has organized a data training program aimed at equipping various municipalities within the Greater Accra Region with waste management data collection and validation skills.

Speaking at a media tour in Accra which sought to monitor and supervise the training, lead for the Ayawaso East District Sualah Yazid Zougrana stressed the need for more data collection on sanitation.

At the last center Osu Korle-Klottey Municipal District, Lead Adelaide Naa Adorley advised households to open up to participants who will be visiting for information and promised to protect information collected

The data collection training exercise aimed at equipping the various municipalities within the Greater Accra Region with skills on data gathering on sanitation has ended.

The purpose of the programme was to help identify challenges within the sanitation space and offer the requisite solutions.

The three-day skills training, which was conducted by African Environmental Sanitation (AFES) Consult in collaboration with the Environmental Service Providers Association (ESPA), ended on Saturday, October 8, 2022. There was a pre-test exercise where trained field officers were deployed on the field on last Saturday, October 8.
