A newly-outdoored civil society group, Coalition for Democratic Accountability and Inclusive Governance has called on government to render a comprehensive accountability to the citizens for state funds among others.
In an interaction with the media, Member of the group who doubles as Executive Director of West Africa Civil Society Institute, Nana Asantewaa Afadzinu, bemoaned corruption in the public sector which remains an existential threat to Ghana’s democracy.
She also called on the public to wake up to their responsibilities and insist the right things are done for the betterment of the nation.
Think-tanks like, SEND Ghana, TUC, IDEG, Parliamentary Network Africa, GIBA, Abantu for Development, ACEPA-Africa, Odekro among others are part of this coalition.
