Asantehene concerned over the economic hardship in the country.

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has added his voice to the call by some Ghanaians of hardship in the country.

He made this known when the food and agriculture minister paid a courtesy call on him during his working visit to the region to interact with farmers in the region to ascertain first-hand information facing the farmers.

Briefing Asantehene on the purpose of his tour, Food, and Agriculture Minister, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto seized the opportunity to urge the chiefs and the public to debunk claims of food shortage in the country.
