Zoomlion marks environmental day with a cleaning up exercise.

The staff of Zoomlion Ghana limited, a firm that provides waste management and environmental sanitation services have held a health walk in collaboration with the media.

The three-hour event-themed ‘walk for clean environment’ began at the Ayi Mensah toll booth and ended at the Peduase Methodist junior high school.

It was all joy and funfair as staff of the waste management giant participated in the energy-sapping activity designed to enable them to live healthier and longer.

The activity which was interspersed with music saw participants screened medically and treated with intensive aerobics.

They also took part in archery and tug of war.

In an interview, the corporate affairs manager of Zoomlion Ghana limited, Daniel Ohene Obeng touched on the essence of the exercise saying it’s the first of its kind and was to happy for the exercise.
