This event held at the UDS Guest House in Accra marked a significant milestone, as he presented a compelling vision for Ghana’s future, focusing on sustainable development and social equity.
During his acceptance speech after he was officially acclaimed by representatives of the Electoral Commission, Dr. John Kpikpi outlined key pillars of his vision for the country.
He says “the PAG will use five powerful interconnected transformational plans, namely improving agriculture, industry transformation, transforming natural resource ownership, transforming infrastructure and creating of new financial architecture to accommodate all other policies.”
Dr. John Kpikpi further emphasized his commitment to social and economic justice, ensuring that all Ghanaians, especially the vulnerable, benefit from national progress and highlighted his plans for the nationalization of strategic industries, particularly in the extractive sectors, to boost employment and secure national resources for future generations.
Furthermore, the educator called for citizen-centered governance, stressing the importance of a professional public service that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of Ghanaians without unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles. His vision also includes initiatives to combat corruption and improve governance through greater transparency and accountability.
“Ghana should be the only owner of its resources with proper documentation and all external forces should be treated as workers who will be paid at the end of service rendered. This will help keep all generated incomes in the country to be used for developmental project.” This he said.
The acclamation was also extended to the national executives of Progressive Alliance for Ghana who will now officially be executing their duties as National Executives.
His platform is deeply rooted in Pan-African ideals and the promotion of Ghana’s cultural identity, aiming to safeguard the country’s reputation while fostering unity and pride.
