As part of measures to enhance spatial planning and sustainable land management nationwide, GIZ Ghana has partnered the Land Use and Spatial Planning Authority.
The initiative is to ensure data accuracy in land management system.
“For us it is a very key project in the planning system, it is important to have a special data for urban development and also for developing and managing the land in Ghana, and so we see this as a very crucial element in order to improve land management and land use planning says Laetitia Erny, the component Manager of Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Land Use and Spatial Planning Authority, Chapman Owusu-Sekyere opined that “It is our responsibility to prepare spatial plans to guide the orderly development of our communities.
