The Member of Parliament for Kpone Katamanso, Joseph Akuerteh Tettey has embarked on a ‘Thank You Tour’ in his constituency to applaud constituents for their support, assistance and prayers during last year’s general elections.
He also promised to work assiduously and tackle the plethora of problems hindering their progress.
The politician who doubles as a businessman floored Hopeson Yaovi Adorye of the New Patriotic Party in last year’s fiercely-contested polls.
His tour took him to the Turaku livestock market where he promised to address assured challenges and difficulties affecting them after a lengthy interaction.
National Chairman of the Ghana National Livestock Breeders and Traders Association Alhaji Moro Akakade called on government to address the shortfall of the Ghana cedis to other major currencies.
Turaku is not too far from the terminus of the Tema end of the Motorway, there is a roundabout served by four roads. One of these radiates to Shai Hills, Akuse and beyond. To the right of this road before the Police barrier, a taxi rank overlooks a kraal, this area is Turaku and it can rightly be described as a regional cattle market which serves the whole of Accra and Tema as well as Nsawam, Amasaman, Koforidua and Suhum.
End.
