The Ghanaian gaffer left his home country’s Women's Premier League side, Hasaacas Ladies, to join the Tanzanian club after putting pen to paper in a one-year contractual agreement. In 2013, Basigi led Hasaacas to their first league title in his first year at the club, beating Fabulous Ladies in the final. He subsequently won the league four more times in his stay at the club.
