Vice President of the Universal Friendship Organization, Reverend Johnson Adu has admonished the teeming youth to be circumspect in their dealings and foster peace before, during and after this year’s polls.
Ghana widely described as a heritage lover’s passion, cultural delight, bird watcher’s paradise and an adventurers dream will elect an Executive President in addition to two hundred and seventy-six Legislators on December 7, 2024.
In a bid to foster harmonious living and peaceful co-existence before during and after the elections, the Universal Friendship Organization in collaboration with the Centre for Intelligence and Security Analysis has embarked on a Peace walk themed “Electoral Peace, National Security.”
The event which was hugely patronized began at the Obra Spot and ended at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
In an interview, Vice President of Universal Friendship Organization, Reverend Johnson Adu admonished the teeming youth to promote and sustain peace before during and after the elections.
“Any time is election year; we come out preach peace to the people and also to talk to the stakeholders of various political devices as well as the electoral commission to assure the country and the whole world that we are going to have peace before, during and after election”. He said
President of the Organization at the Tertiary Clubs level, Mustapha Hamidu and the Vice President of Vital wellness, Phoebe Duah Agyemang also stressed the need for peace to prevail as Ghana heads to the poll next month.
Universal Friendship Organization is a non-governmental International agency aimed at harnessing peace and security amongst other key factors in Africa and beyond.
