The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested a man seen in a viral video on social media seen issuing threats to shoot any police officer he may encounter.
In a press statement issued and signed by the regional head of public affairs of the Ghana Police Service, Ms. Juliana Obeng (Supt) indicates that on Monday, 23rd June 2025, an intelligence-led operation resulted in the arrest of the individual identified in the video as Israel Agbo Forson, a 32-year-old filmmaker residing
in North Legon.
The suspect is currently on police enquiry bail and is assisting with ongoing investigations. The statement further condemns strongly terms of acts of incitement, threats, and obstruction against law enforcement officers. Such conduct is not only unlawful but also undermines public peace and the authority of the Police, it’s stated.

The Command is assuring the public that it remains committed to maintaining law and order.
