At the mention of “Arts” one of the domains that rarely stands conspicuous in the eyes of the mind is music. And thus, the Creative Arts Agency in its quest to develop the sector, in line with its mandate and fulfillment of President John Dramani Mahama’s government’s promise to help in the development of the human resource base of the space successfully piloted one of its numerous-to- happen Master Classes/workshops for the sector under the mantra “Grow the Artist-in-Me”, for some Ghanaian musicians with the legendary Thornell Jones, Jr., as Resource Person.
Thornell Jones Jr. is a renowned music industry expert and long-standing member of the Recording Academy (The GRAMMYs) with over 25 years of experience as a voting member and Governor of the Florida Chapter. Ghanaian musicians had the opportunity to learn from his expertise and gain insights into achieving Grammy nominations.
The Ghana Music Experience team was also present to educate attendees on copyright and royalty protection, providing valuable knowledge for musicians and creatives.
This meeting reaffirms the Creative Arts Agency’s commitment to creating an enabling and thriving ecosystem for creatives.
