In a significant move to decentralize and modernize vehicular services, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has officially commissioned the Ashaiman Ultra Center.
Led by the Chief Executive and his deputies, the high-profile event marked a milestone in the Authority’s commitment to bringing efficient, world-class services closer to the doorsteps of Ghanaians.
A Strategic Partnership
The new facility operates under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement, reflecting a modern approach to infrastructure development. This Ultra Center is strategically positioned to alleviate the pressure on existing offices by serving:

• The entire Ashaiman municipality.

• Key surrounding industrial and residential enclaves in Tema.

Acknowledging Local Leadership

The successful completion of the project was attributed to the seamless collaboration between the government and local stakeholders. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to Hon. Ernest Norgbey, the Member of Parliament for Ashaiman, and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), whose joint efforts ensured the project remained a priority for the community.
