The campaign which started on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, will cover major towns such as Sokpoe, Adidome, Akatsi, and Kpotame, all of which are along major highways in the Volta Region. The campaign will focus on the enforcement of the wearing of seat belts, adherence to road signs, and the regularization of documents such as drivers’ licenses, roadworthiness certificates, and insurance. On n Monday, January 10, 2022, the University Teachers Association of Ghana began its industrial action to demand better conditions of service and a hike in salaries of lecturers.
