The team was at the UHAS Basic and Henry International Schools today. During the interaction some pupils expressed concerns over what becomes their fate when their breadwinners get incarcerated for defiling them. Their concerns follow Police’s admonition to pupils to report sexual abusers for necessary police action. In her response the Deputy Volta Regional coordinator for DOVVSU, ASP Juliana Wiah, encouraged the pupils to still do so as she explained that whenever a parent is involved the DOVVSU collaborates with the Social Welfare Department to take care of them.
