The Executive Secretary of the Food and Beverage Association of Ghana (FABAG), Samuel Ato Aggrey, has reacted to the recent decision by the U.S government to impose a 10% tariff on imports.
According to him, Ghana should disregard the move, and instead, implement pragmatic measures to increase production and build a resilient business community to boost the country’s economy.
“At the time that they impose these tariffs, it became very necessary that industry and traders wake up to that call.
We should forget about America what they are doing; Trump cannot be dictating to us how our economy should be.” He said
