Government urged to be more proactive with educational policies

The Headmaster of Unto Others International School, Opoku Kingsley, has encouraged parents to invest heavily in their wards’ education since it’s the bedrock of a nation’s growth and development.

According to former South African President Nelson Mandela of blessed memory, Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world.

In consonance with this, individuals and institutions have taken a giant step in striving to prioritize it for the benefit of all and sundry.

In spite of the teething challenges and difficulties bedeviling it, education has made significant strides in every part of the world.

To address the over-reliance of graduates on government for job opportunities, Headmaster of Unto Others International School sited at Abeka, Opoku Kingsley has stressed the need for parents to invest heavily in educating their wards and admonished government to overhaul our educational system to be job-oriented.

According to him, the move will curb graduate unemployment which has become an albatross hanging on the government’s neck.

The school’s Administrative Officer, Godwin Sewodor shared similar concerns.
