Adamus Resources Ltd wishes to clarify recent misinformation regarding a supposed Interim Management Committee (IMC) that was allegedly denied access to the Nzema Mine site after they had forcibly and illegally entered the premises of the Company.
This misinformation has been spearheaded by one Allan Morrison, a national of New Zealand, through his assigns – one Isaac Ackun, a Ghanaian, and another Laurent Gaba, a Togolese National, circulating on certain news portals who have not taken any time to seek clarification from the company.
To set the record straight, there is no IMC in place at Adamus Resources Limited. In a ruling delivered on 12 December 2024, the High Court, presided over by her Ladyship Justice Jennifer Abena Dadzie (Justice of the Court of Appeal sitting as an additional High Court Judge), determined that all pending interlocutory applications and orders — including the order dated 27 July 2023, which the purported Interim Management Committee (IMC) seeks to leverage for its claims-have effectively lapsed and are rendered void.
This declaration was made when the High Court delivered its ruling on the application of lawyers of Adamus Resources Limited and Nguvu Mining Ltd to withdraw the suit. Prior to this, another ruling had been made by a different High Court presided over by Justice Loddoh, striking out all the counterclaims made by Allan Morrison and Adamus Resources Pty Ltd.
Based on the High Court’s clear ruling, we are left to question the true intention behind the false claims being made and the false media publications about the existence of an IMC. To this end, we urge all media houses to verify these facts and report fairly and accurately, as these reports have the effect of adversely affecting the company’s operations.
We strongly advise the public to disregard any assertions or reports regarding a supposed Interim Management Committee (IMC) exerting control over Adamus Resources Limited. Any official communication from the company shall be from the communications bureau and on the letterhead of Adamus Resources Limited. Anything contrary to that must be treated with the highest level of contempt it deserves.
