The campaign which started on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, will cover major towns such as Sokpoe, Adidome, Akatsi, and Kpotame, all of which are along major highways in the Volta Region. The campaign will focus on the enforcement of the wearing of seat belts, adherence to road signs, and the regularization of documents such as drivers’ licenses, roadworthiness certificates, and insurance. Pan African TV’s Akua Ababio was at the university’s campus to monitor the new development and has come through with this report. On n Monday, January 10, 2022, the University Teachers Association of Ghana began its industrial action to demand better conditions of service and a hike in salaries of lecturers. After more than a month of staying away from the lecture halls, members of the association arrived at a decision to suspend the strike following a court order. Majority of lecturers across some seven public universities in the country voted against the decision by UTAG’s national Executive Committee (NEC)
