Artisans and traders at the Arts Centre are enraged with the activities of miscreants serving as middle men whose nefarious activities has affected patronage of wares at the facility.
The commercially viable hub which deals in historical relics and artifacts has seen a downward spiral due to the activities of self-styled middle men popularly known as Goro boys.
Their heinous activity has also made business unbearable and unattractive.
In an interview, a clothier Kwame Nketia raised concern over their illicit dealings and called for a collaborative effort to curb their unauthorized operations.
From several beautifully designed display of rich African wares, traders at the facility are distraught over their day-to-day activity.
Madam Atta Mensah has worked for close to two decades also narrated the ordeal she has been through.
To them, government’s timely intervention will help address their problem which has persisted for years.
