The Ministry urged Ghanaians at home and abroad to verify all information directly from official sources, including the Ministry’s website, accredited media, and verified social media platforms. It further advised individuals seeking consular services to engage only with designated officers at the Ministry or Ghana’s accredited Missions abroad.

Citizens were also encouraged to promptly report any suspicious activities, including fraudulent demands for payment, to the Ministry or the nearest Ghana Mission.
