Nkwanta South municipal hospital and St Joseph hospital, the two main hospital in Nkwanta South which are found in Nkwanta township workers have all run away.This happened because of the renewed conflict that lead to many deaths and injuries. David Amenudzi who is the secretary of Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwife Association at Nkwanta South municipal stated in an interview that all the nurses and midwives of Nkwanta St. Joseph hospital have all run away. According to him the health workers left because of the conflict in Nkwanta.
