The first round of qualifiers is set for the weekend of 25-27 October, 2024.

With the qualifying fixtures yet to be announced, Ghanaian fans are highly expectant that the Black Galaxies will once again book their spot and make up for their disappointing attempt in the previous season.

The tournament will be hosted in East Africa and CAF is expected to communicate in due course the specific venues to be used for the competition.

Meanwhile, CAF President, Dr. Patrice Motsepe visited some Kenya venues being constructed for the tourney and underscored the need for cooperation to ensure their completion while commending the country’s government for its commitment.

Senegal, the reigning champions look forward to retaining the trophy after they defeated Algeria, host nation of the previous edition two years ago.
