By: Daniel Kwabena Asare

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has stressed the need for peaceful-coexistence and harmonious living as Ghana heads to the poll on December 7, 2024.

Delivering a speech at Yendi in commemoration of Catholic Archbishop Vincent Sowah Boi-Nai, he equally entreated religious leaders and the National Peace Council to address threats to violence which could mar the election if left unattended to.

“My brothers and Sisters in the LORD, Ghana is known for its peaceful religious co-existence, we have always been the envy of many countries in the sub-region where peace has eluded them” he said

“As we approach the elections we should never forget that peace is fragile and like an egg once it is cracked it can never be put together again without the scarce showing” John Dramani Mahama noted.

John Mahama is committed to canvassing for support from the people of Ghana by leveraging his extensive experience as a leader and promoting the NDC’s development agenda as the pathway towards building the Ghana we all want together.
