7/10/2024 Head Coach of Sudan national team, Kwasi Appiah has temporarily resigned from his position as an Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following a directive from the Confederation of African Football, CAF. The former Black Stars coach who was still serving on his home country’s FA Executive Council, is set to face his former side in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. To avoid any potential conflict of interest since Appiah would be working for two different associations involved in the same competition, CAF directed he temporarily resigned from his post. 3/10/2024 Mohammed Salisu, Black Stars defender has scored his first-ever UEFA Champions League goal on Wednesday night to give AS Monaco a draw against Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia. After beating Barcelona in their first outing, Monaco were highly confident of securing a win against Dinamo who suffered at the hands of Bayern Munich earlier. Unfortunately, the home side proved to be a formidable side when they took the lead in additional time of the opening half through Peter Sucic.
