Former President of the Ghana Boxing Authority, Peter Zwennes has lauded the Peter Kwabena Osei Foundation for honouring boxing legends who’s in-ring accomplishments has cemented the country’s reputation as a hub of sports excellence

As part of changing and transforming lives, a Non-Governmental Organization, Peter Kwabena Osei Foundation, popularly known as PKO foundation convened at Seconds Out Gymnasium in Accra to honour boxing David “Poison” Kotei and also refurbish the facility as part of efforts to sustain interest in the noble art of self-defence.

The event was graced by dignitaries within the boxing fraternity including former world champions whose exploits are still lavishly embossed on the lips of all and sundry.

Former President of the Ghana Boxing Authority, Peter Zwennes commended the PKO Foundation for embarking on the ground-breaking initiative.

“I think that the initiative to honour and motive these ex boxing champions is a very laudable and is very welcome. And I think that PKO deserve tons of congratulations for coming up with this “initiative.” He said

Chief Executive officer of Peter Kwabena Osei(PKO) Foundation established as a charitable arm of boxing seeks to uplift communities through sport, mentorship and opportunity.
