An indigene of Gomoa Abora in the Central Region, she studied at Accra Workers College and worked as a Stenographer at the University of Ghana. She deeply immersed herself in the nasty and adversarial game of politics with the defunct Provisional National Defence Council regime and served as Deputy Secretary of Mobilization and Social Welfare. Police Impounds 394 Motorbikes In Recent Operation. AFRICA NEWS LOCAL NEWS by George Vineh Yawson - July 28, 2021November 11, 20240 Periodic police operations to clamp down criminal activities and prevent crimes usually committed by motor-cyclists have led to the seizure of 394 motorbikes by the Accra Regional Police command across the region in a five day operation. The five-day operation which started on 22nd July and still underway is part of police efforts to sustain the current security situation in the country’s capital, Accra. This according to the police, was to sanitize the system by reclaiming stolen motorbikes and compelling recalcitrant riders to regularize and update their documentation in line with Road traffic regulations. Following directives of the Regional Commander, DCOP/ Afful Boakye Yiadom, to continue the motorbike exercise all divisional commanders began the operation in their various divisions to impound these motorbikes
