Information shows that there is shortage of food in Nkwanta town and the residents and the security personnel are finding it difficult to get food in the town due to the conflict. Deputy Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has extended his goodwill so orphaned and underprivileged children in the constituency as part of his drive to give back to society.The lawmaker spent his Christmas day with cherished children at the Word Alive Orphanage in Esiama, a town found within the Ellembelle constituency. According to the seasoned legislator,Christmas is a time for love, compassion, and generosity—a time to extend the love that Christ Jesus exemplified with everyone, especially the underprivileged. Member of Parliament for the Buem constituency Honourable Kofi Iddi Adams has threatened that all members of the Electoral Commission who misconducted themselves in the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections will be removed from office. In an interview on Pan African Television’s “TALK TIME” programme, Honourable Adams said the process of removing these officials from office will be lawful and constitutional. In the interview hosted by Kwesi Pratt Jnr, the Buem legislator said the Electoral Commission cannot claim any credit for the smooth administration of the electoral process . “It was our vigilance which did the trick” he said.
